This is the second rum from Maison Gelas that I have tasted
A Panamanian rum like the first, but 10 years old and reduced to 41.2% . With the 9 year old, it made for a lovely tasting that highlighted a definite interest in reduction.
My encounter with the Double matured Panama Old Ron 10 years
I only got to know Philippe Gelas because he subscribed to my email list.
I have many rum and rum-arranged lovers country email list who regularly follow my emails. I have a few enthusiasts who are embarking on the adventure of selling their rum-arranged wines, and I also have wine merchants.
We chatted quite a bit
we discussed the topics I cover in my emails, and then we talked about the range of rums produced by the Gelas family.
I really like Panamanian rums. I’ve product development process tasted several and I find them very good. They are excellent with a creamy dessert. I’m thinking in particular of the Esprit Panama 2004 that I tasted at the Table du Loup, a real delight.
So, the opportunity to be able to taste a alb directory new expression of this rum was an obvious pleasure.
