The mouth
On the palate, the esters are spicy , it’s dry. This rum has character . It’s always on the caramel, a delicious caramel and full of sweetness. There is a gourmet cocoa aroma associated with small notes of coffee.
This spicy kick is surprising. It’s not very powerful and even very accessible, but it takes over the palate in a great tidal wave. It’s surprising.
The final
The finish is beautifully fresh with notes of black pepper. It’s a lovely, long finish .
Ideal tasting mode
It is a rum that is very good to enjoy neat industry email list and ideally with a good dessert like egg custard or rice pudding.
Value for money
At 50 euros, it’s in the lower range for rums of this type. There are a plethora of bottlers offering Panamanian rums, and prices range from single to triple. The craftsmanship of these rums also varies, but at 50 euros, it’s a very reasonable price for this rum.
My pleasure in tasting
I really enjoyed this tasting. It had set up a business website and social media profiles been a while since I had done one, and I took my time to savor these two expressions of alb directory Panamanian rums. I tasted them in parallel to soak up their differences, and there are some beautiful ones. I plan to try several tastings of these rums, especially trying them in cocktails.
